The Image
Location
I took this shot at an abandoned temple close to Bagan, Myanmar.
This novice had such an intense gaze. I found the light falling on his face like this provided an interesting contrast with the darkness of the temple.
The morning sun was pouring through the side of the temple providing for some great light.
The two novices who were visiting with us spent most of the day reading their holy book, barely saying anything to us.

The Print
This is one of a series of 30 prints all sizes combined. The series is composed of:
- A4 – 15 prints
- A3+ – 10 prints
- A2 – 3 prints
- A1 – 2 prints
Shipping
All prints will be shipped 1st class recorded delivery. A3+ and A4 prints are sent flat in a presentation box. A2 and A1 prints are rolled and sent in a durable, heavyweight tube.

The photographer reserves the right to reproduce this image for use in greetings cards, calendars, books and for any other promotional purposes. These reproductions are not considered originals, but may augment the value of your original. Refunds are only offered if the print is damaged on arrival and reported no later than 14 days after delivery. Although every effort has been made to ensure the measurements are correct, this is not guaranteed as each print is individually made and some may be hand cut. You may be charged customs duties and taxes for this print.
